🛒 Ingredients:

For the Beef:

  • 400–500g beef (sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp oil

For the Sauce:

  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce (optional)
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 cup beef broth or water
  • 1 tsp cornstarch (for thickening)

Vegetables:

  • 1 green bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 red bell pepper (optional, sliced)
  • 1 large onion (sliced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger (optional)

👨‍🍳 Instructions:

1. Marinate the Beef:

  • Mix beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, and oil.
  • Let it sit for 15–20 minutes.

2. Cook the Beef:

  • Heat oil in a pan or wok over high heat.
  • Stir-fry beef quickly (2–3 minutes) until browned.
  • Remove and set aside.

3. Cook the Vegetables:

  • In the same pan, sauté garlic and ginger.
  • Add onions and bell peppers.
  • Stir-fry until slightly tender but still crisp.

4. Add Sauce:

  • Mix all sauce ingredients and pour into the pan.
  • Bring to a simmer.

5. Combine:

  • Return beef to the pan.
  • Stir everything together until the sauce thickens (2–3 minutes).
